Join us for weekly 3D printing classes.
This webinar series has ended and registration is no longer available.
Want to learn the ‘ins and outs’ of 3D printing? Are you a teacher currently engaged in remote teaching and want to learn more about 3D printing? Join us every Wednesday for free 3D printing live tutorials.
The tutorials are run by our founder Phil Cotton a teacher of ten years and Autodesk instructor. Each session lasts 45 minutes and involves learning the key areas of 3D printing and computer aided design.
We are currently on week three and have covered all the basics of TinkerCAD and how to slice models for 3D printing. Next week we move onto coding and 3D printing with TinkerCAD code blocks.
So far we have had teachers from over 300 schools sign up from all around the world. The great thing about the live lessons is they can be watched on replay so even if you can’t make the time you won’t miss out.
Every lesson has a chat forum where 3D printing topics are discussed with question and answer sessions. Nothing is off limits, it’s a great chance to tap into the knowledge of Phil who has printed thousands of objects and used over 20 different 3D printers.
The sessions are delivered by Phil in collaboration with FlashForge USA who are the sponsor of the series of lessons and throughout the lessons we dip into the Flashforge Adventurer 3 printer and why it is suitable for the classroom.
The series of lessons lasts for ten weeks and progressively gets more challenging each week. The content includes ideas for 3D printing in the classroom linked to the learnbylayers curriculum and the basics of how to use TinkerCAD, TinkerCAD code blocks, Fusion 360 and FlashPrint.
If you are thinking about taking the plunge into 3D printing or maybe just have an interest in 3D printing then use the sign up form below.
