Cambridge IGCSE Design and Technology

Learnbylayers is currently being taught in International schools around the world. At the time of publishing this the curriculum is taught in 19 countries and many of these are international schools that teach the international GCSE as part of their Design and Technology curriculum. Teaching 3D printing as a way to prepare your students to the IGCSE provides a modern 21st century experience for your students.

If you are studying the IGCSE then this table below is where our lessons meet the subject content of the 2020 – 2022 revision.  The curriculum can be used to prepare the students for their final year assessment alongside other standard Design and Technology projects. To learn more about the curriculum, download the free lesson from the left side of the screen and we will send you examples from the curriculum and resources to use in lesson.

For the IGCSE we only recommend the Intermediate lesson pack and the Advanced lesson pack. These lessons are aimed at students aged 14 and above and are based around autodesk fusion 360.  As with all the lessons, the content can be edited by the teacher to suit the needs of the students and come with a lifetime site license for your school, so once you have downloaded them, your school can keep using the lessons year after year.
