This webinar series has now ended and registration is no longer available.
Are you a teacher remote teaching due to the current global pandemic?
With many schools closed around the world, we understand the pressures of teaching virtually at short notice. With such a changing environment we want to ensure that even if your school is closed, your students can still learn about 3D printing.
Build skills for 3D printing
Today we are pleased to announce we have teamed up with FlashForge USA to offer a series of live lessons, FREE to teachers and schools in the USA.
The lessons will focus on ‘learning the principles of 3D printing and designing models to 3D print’. There will be a new focus each week that will build students understanding of 3D printing. By the end of the series of lessons, teachers and students will be confident in the subject.
The designing tasks all use Autodesk software which is free for education. The series of lessons starts with TinkerCAD tutorials, including TinkerCAD code blocks and then finishing with Fusion 360 tutorials.
4pm ET and 1pm PT time
This series of online lessons is suitable for teachers and their classes and by the end of the tutorials, you will be confident in designing for 3D printing and understanding how 3D printers work and their benefits to society.
Each lesson will last 45 minutes and will be delivered by Phil Cotton, teacher and learnbylayers founder who is a certified Autodesk Instructor.
High quality learning
The lessons will be interactive and include a chat dialogue where you can ask questions and feedback and also a follow up task for students to practice the skills learnt in the tutorials.
