Today we are pleased to announce we have added monthly subscriptions to learnbylayers. With schools around the world closing and students home learning we have added this option to allow more flexible learning when at home. This is in addition to giving open free access to our Beginners curriculum to support teachers and students during this time of school closures.
During the past week, we have seen thousands of children from around the world accessing the Free Curriculum and have we have received excellent feedback from teachers how this has helped them during this challenging time. The access is free and unlimited. With the majority of teachers having to quickly produce lesson content, almost with no notice when schools close, this has created a significant increase in workload for school staff. Open access to the Beginners curriculum has allowed for a quick solution to keep classes going remotely.
Ideal for home learning
In each monthly plan parents and students will get access to everything that teachers and schools get e.g. Teacher lesson plans, teaching powerpoint, lesson tasks, homework tasks, video tutorials and STL files to print. After purchase, a login and password are issued allowing for easy to access the rest of the lesson content.
We recommend that parents read through the lesson plan to understand the aims of each lesson and then communicate this to their children. For older teenagers, they will be able to self guide themselves through the content. If you have a 3D printer then great, but if not then children can still work through the curriculum with the designs created saved and printed upon return to school.
To explore for the format of the plans visit the Free Curriculum to see the workflow of the lessons. The essentials, pro and ultimate plan all follow the same format.
