This lesson focuses on designing ear rings for resin 3D printing. There are 4 design tutorials/challenges as part of this lesson that have varying levels of difficulty. There are multiple different CAD skills learnt as part of the 3 jewellery design lessons/12 tutorials.

As with every tutorial there are step by step instructions with CAD screenshots and also video tutorials that demonstrate how to complete all of the modelling tasks.

The lesson could be delivered as a stand alone CAD modelling lesson or students could choose which tasks they want to complete and work individually on the tutorials/challenges. It could also be mixed and matched with lesson 25 or lesson 27 as part of a resin jewellery design project.

This lesson also has a homework that focuses on the future of 3D printing and how Carbon 3D and Adidas are revolutionising manufacturing with the 3D printed trainer shoe.
