Since our launch we have seen our curriculum being taught to over 10,000 students in schools around the world. These schools are now teaching a tried and tested curriculum that has been designed by teachers for teachers and one that is based upon evidence of what works in the classroom. Our aim is to expand the teaching of high quality 3D printing lessons to as many students as possible. That’s why when the curriculum was designed we only worked with current classroom teachers rather than 3D printing companies. To ensure the broadest reach of the curriculum we ensured that it was dynamic and flexible to the main educational standards of the UK, USA and Australia. Our founder Philip Cotton is a teacher and has been working in 3D printing education since 2012. As well teaching students he also works with the UK National STEM centre as an associate facilitator training teachers from around the UK on 3D printing in education.
